Allen Batista Travel Offers Exciting In-Person and Virtual Walking Tours Throughout Manhattan and Philadelphia

Are you looking for inspiration for a family-friendly staycation?  Allen Batista Travel, Inc. offers five fun, yet educational socially distant in-person and virtual walking tours with licensed tour guides through the iconic streets of New York City and Philadelphia.  The walking tours cost $45 in person and $35 for virtual tours and group rates are available.

Not only do walking tours provide an entertaining and fun experience, but they provide a number of health benefits as well. According to Travel Weekly, “walking leads to stronger bones, improved balance, increased cardiovascular fitness, lower risk of chronic diseases, reduced body fat, and more! “

To comply with CDC guidelines and social distancing during in-person tours, no more than ten people are allowed on the in-person walking tours. For the virtual tours, groups of one to ten, 11 to 49, and 50 or more people are welcome. Upon booking your virtual tour, you will be given a meeting ID and password for Zoom. 

Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown Walking Tour

This walking tour explores three neighborhoods throughout lower Manhattan: Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown. Beginning in Soho, you’ll explore designer shops and cast-iron buildings. Take in the iconic sites before moving to Little Italy, where you smell the delicious Italian food, such as the pizza from New York’s first pizzeria, and visit famous mob hangouts. The last stop is Chinatown, which offers entertaining shows and colorful vendors. 

The in-person tours are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays starting at 10 AM. The virtual tours run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 10 AM or 11 AM. 

Lower East Side Walking Tour

Learn about the extensive and rich history of the Lower East Side and all of the cultures of those who have immigrated there. This part of the city is truly a melting pot; Jewish, Latino, German, Italian, Asian immigrants have all called it home. Visit some of the Lower East Side’s best spots, such as Katz’s Deli, Red Square, the sites of many famous TV shows and movies, and more! 

The in-person tours are run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 1 PM.  The virtual tours are available on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays beginning at either 1 PM or 2 PM.

Mid-Manhattan Walking Tour

Some of New York City’s most well-known and iconic landmarks are in Midtown, such as the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and more. Visit the hustle and bustle of the busiest place on Earth; feel the heartbeat of the city. Times Square and the theaters of Broadway are the perfect places to learn about the culture and excitement of the city. 

The in-person tours are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning at 10 AM.   The virtual tours are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM or 11 AM. 

Philadelphia Independence Mall Walking Tour

Learn the rich history of Philadelphia on this tour! You will explore sites important to the foundation of American democracy, such as the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall, Betsy Ross House, and more. Join a licensed tour guide for this educational and entertaining experience! 

In-person tours are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:30 AM, while virtual tours run on Saturdays starting at 10:30 AM. 

Philadelphia Ghost Tour

The Philadelphia Ghost Tour is perfect for those interested in the spooky side of the city. You’ll explore the sites that inspired famous, ghostly works of fiction, such as Dracula and The Raven. Try to spot a ghost as a guide takes you to famous locations of supernatural sightings, Independence Hall, Pennsylvania Hospital, and more! 

The in-person version of this tour is run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 5 PM, as well as Saturday at 4 PM. The virtual tours are available every day of the week except Sunday beginning at 8 PM.
